Android: Neues ROM mit Fokus auf Sicherheit und Privatsphäre?

Hintergrund:

We are discussing the possibility to build a new custom ROM that focuses on free software, privacy, security and support for a large number of devices. We don’t want to re-invent the wheel if it’s not necassary, a ROM that nobody wants to use is just a waste of time. To know if our ideas of a custom ROM are supported by the community, we need to know what you think about custom ROMs and our ideas on it.
